According to a press release from Commissioner Bush, the programs are available for all eligible counties affected by flooding in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley in 2018 and 2019, as well as for Tropical Storm Imelda in 2019.

The Texas General Land Office said it has allocated a $ 137.8 million Community Development Block Grant – Department of Housing and Urban Development Disaster Recovery Fund for the repair or reconstruction of single-family homes that are owner-occupied and occupied. reimbursement of up to $ 50,000 for expenses incurred for reconstruction, rehabilitation or mitigation.

Repayment of SBA loans is also eligible for repayment.
