A man was fatally shot Friday night after an apparent argument turned deadly in northeast Harris County, authorities say.

Deputies responded around 11:30 p.m. at the 14600 block of Greenville near Manor Street and found a 38-year-old man inside his truck with multiple gunshot wounds, Sgt. Ben Beal of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said. He died at the scene.

“The victim and his friend arrived at one of the trailers in Greenville when he was approached by another neighbor and there was a disturbance in the street,” Beall said, adding that the disturbance was related. renovation work the victim had done on a trailer. . “A short time later, a vehicle and a Hispanic male on a bicycle arrived at the scene.”

The man on the bike also argued with the victim before pulling out a gun and shooting him, Beall added.

Homicide investigators are taking witness statements at the scene to get more information about the suspects, authorities said.
